Royton Road Runners will for winter 2026-27 be affiliated to a new Lancashire Rose Cross Country League, formed through the merger of the Red Rose & South East Lancs leagues.

Cross-country races are fantastic team events, excellent value for money & a great way to help build up strength & stamina over the winter to leave you in perfect shape for the following year's road race season.

Races are expected to be around 10K for men, 8K for women, with a wide range of abilities taking part - it's definitely not just for the fastest runners!
