Club Championship 2026
On this page you will find the full list of RRR club championship races for 2026 (including links to entry where available).
We usually aim to include 17 events in the competition in order to give club members plenty of opportunities to complete seven 'counting' races - we don't expect people to enter every race, especially where they come in quick succession!

In compiling this list, the race sub-committee took into account survey feedback/ratings from members on the races included in the 2025 championship, as well as suggestions for other events to include.
As you'll see, this year we're just holding 1 chip-timed 5K - provisionally scheduled for May 2026.

As in 2025, each individual's best time in the Sale Sizzler 5K series counts towards club championship points - whether you choose to run one or more of the 4 races.

For the 2026 club championship, points will as usual be awarded for each race according to the finishing order (on chip times where used), with each individual's BEST 7 SCORES to count.
AS AN AFFILIATED CLUB WE ABIDE BY ENGLAND ATHLETICS RULES.
MEMBERS MUST RUN IN THEIR OWN NAME AND IN A CLUB VEST WHEN ENTERED IN A RACE AS A ROYTON ROAD RUNNER (OR IN THEIR 1ST CLAIM COLOURS IF NOT RRR).
