RRR TRAINING GROUP: 7:30 - 8:30 MINS/MILE (APPROX 50-MINUTE 10K PACE)
Monday & Thursday runs are normally 6-8 miles with hills, flat, park and road taken into account. We try to keep the group together, so if we feel some faster runners are stretching the group then they will turn around & run to the back to chat to/assist the newer/slower-paced runners.
We cater for runners returning from injury, those who have had a busy day at work and don't wish to run at a faster pace or people who are stepping up to a new group. Nobody will be left at the back by themselves!
Our routes are usually published on Facebook prior to our run, allowing runners the opportunity to run with a faster or slower group if they wish to. On the occasions we go beyond the 8-mile mark we always inform people in case they have another engagement they have to get to.
