FIRST CLAIM CLUB: Royton Road Runners

FAVOURITE RACE: Loch Ness Marathon.

TOUGHEST RACE: Bull Hill 5.5 mile fell run.

FAVOURITE TRAINING RUN: Guadalest near Benidorm, about four days after the marathon.

MOST MEMORABLE/PROUDEST RUNNING MOMENT: Wearing the RRR vest for the first time at the Tour of Tameside; and second place in Group 2 (promotion to Group 1). 

FUNNIEST/MOST EMBARRASSING RUNNING MOMENT: Got to the Wolverhampton Marathon in 2001 with Pete Stals a couple of minutes late, we had to play catch up. 

FAVOURITE PRE-RACE MEAL: Three pints of bitter and a kebab.

PRE-RACE SUPERSTITIONS: Must have a tin of rice pudding for my breakfast on the day of a marathon. 

RUNNING AMBITIONS: To run a sub 3:15 marathon (3:18 best so far) & to run 10 sub-3:30 marathons (7 so far).
