JARROD GRITT - PROFILE

Joined Royton Road Runners in 2016.

THE SPORTSMAN...
History: Started running in 2010. Ran for Hull University athletics & cross-country team from 2011-2014. Suffered a knee injury in 2013 which has been recurring for several years, but proper biomechanical analysis & strength work has improved it massively - since joining RRR I've been injury-free & have surpassed my previous best times.
Proudest achievement: Either coming 3rd in the very first 13 Arches Half Marathon or just my progress in 2016 to get me to where I am now, competing at the top end of the RRR Premiership.
Ambition: To eventually win the RRR Club Championship; to successfully complete my first 50K ultra in 2017.
Current training: Run roughly 50-60K per week.
