FIRST CLAIM CLUB: Classified information.
FAVOURITE RACE: Andy O's New Year's Day race, Wardle Skyline fell race.
TOUGHEST RACE: Any race with the word 'marathon' in it.!
FAVOURITE TRAINING RUN: Route of the (sadly now defunct) Wardle Skyline fell race.
MOST MEMORABLE/PROUDEST RUNNING MOMENT: Running PBs at 5K & 10K last year after a near 2-year running sabbatical.
FUNNIEST/MOST EMBARRASSING RUNNING MOMENT: Following runners in front of me going the wrong way in one of Andy O's Cowm Reservoir races one time, in spite of knowing they were going the wrong way (well I thought if everyone goes the same way thn the race would be the same for everyone!!). Eventually everyone got onto the correct course, though only after a longer than expected race for some.
FAVOURITE PRE-RACE MEAL: Split between two - sometimes chocolate, sometimes lager, sometimes both. It does sometimes work...managed a half marathon PB (1:25) after 5 pints of lager the night before.
PRE-RACE SUPERSTITIONS: Making many excuses as to why I might not have a good run & winding up Bryan Lawton.
RUNNING AMBITIONS: Sub 18:00 5K, sub 38:00 10K...this year. Afterwards to lower my 10 mile & half marathon PBs.
